I’m defending my thesis tomorrow. But, that’s not why I’m posting here. I’m just procrastinating on preparing. Like when I put a guitar strap on my mixer. Not really sure why I did it, but it seemed like something important at the time. I made a recording of a little improv i did with my latest setup with the new strap.
unknown unknowns – strapped live
So, I’m listening to Art for Spastics like I usually do on Tuesday. Last night’s episode was 9/11 themed. Tried to play WoW, because Tuesday morning is when the servers are put back online after their weekly maintenance, but it’s down today for hardware upgrades. That’s probably a good thing for me. Anyway, I heard this song that featured lots of those computer generated voices, which I thought was so hilarious I’d share it with the rest of the Ill Op crew.
The track is “Let’s Roll” off the album Tourrorists! by Porest, released this year by Abduction. You can hear the whole episode of Art for Spastics at the website, but I went ahead and made an mp3 of just that track. Sorry about the crappy sound quality. From radio to mp3 to my crappy soundcard to another, even shittier quality mp3…well you get the point.
[EDIT: I’m sure Art for Spastics, like any internet radio, is sent from the mixer to a computer, not from a radio to a computer. wtf was i thinking?]
Hi Chris, thanks for listening! Just thought I’d let you know…I think the KDVS streams and mp3 archive are supported by a receiver actually. We’re meaning to upgrade that soon. It’ll sound even better then.
